Harroop Sandhu, MSc. RCC
Harroop is a Registered Clinical Counselor (RCC) with over ten years of experience providing counseling support to individuals, children, parents, and families. Her passion is to inspire families to develop the necessary tools to navigate challenging family dynamics while nurturing connections. Harroop comes from a culturally rich background and brings a client centered approach, which allows her to work with individuals from many different cultures while honoring their diversity. She uses a variety of therapeutic approaches and is skilled in working with clients experiencing several challenges including trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and stress management.
Harroop strives to provide a safe, compassionate, and accepting atmosphere as she empowers families to reach their goals while strengthening the parent/child relationship. Using an attachment based perspective, Harroop works with parents to move into being their child’s best bet. One of her focuses is to work collaboratively with families to provide an environment for children that cultivate healthy development, adaptation and maturation. Harroop brings insight to families with cross cultural values and works to address concerns related to relational, behavioral, and emotional issues.
Using a holistic philosophy, Harroop encourages clients to bring awareness to their whole self, including body, mind and spirit. Through a process of awareness, insight, skill building, mindfulness, and warm support, her clients can learn to navigate and make sense of challenges.
